Russian stocks seen flat on neutral foreign background
MOSCOW, May 21 (PRIME) -- The Russian stock market may open flat on Friday amid a neutral foreign background, analysts said.
The foreign background before the start of trading in Russia is neutral, Otkritie Broker analyst Andrei Kochetkov said. Oil ceased falling, while industrial metals are getting cheaper. Asian indices are trading mixed, and European index futures indicated a cautious positive start.
“The Russian market may consolidate at the beginning of the regular session, as well as the ruble, which is near a strong resistance line,” the analyst said.
